Not fast enough, Monica - we need 500 members by end Feb - I'm a bit surprised and disappointed by the lack of support from the SA riding community, to be honest.
Monica on Tuesday 19 February 2008 - 13:08:05
260 members and growing - nice to see - this site is still going to pass the 500 mark Meryl

Dear Bev
We have just bought a plot of land near your premises and would like to foster ponies needing rehoming. How many ponies could live comfortably on 4000m2 ? Glen& Arlene

KZN HCU does not have their own website. I would try to contact them to see if they have a horse or pony you could foster first - we try to keep to our own areas fwhen rehoming. Phone their office - 031 6442949

EC HCU falls under HHCU - we only have two staff there, and most of the work carried out at the moment is trying to improve the lives of working animals in the townships. Cruelty or neglect inspections are also carried out, and horses are occasionally available for adoption. Give Megan a ring, I told her about your interest in the Unit this morning!
Meryl on Tuesday 12 February 2008 - 17:46:16
Sands: not yet - but if Megan sends me the info, I'll update her page here too ...
S.Cherry on Tuesday 12 February 2008 - 17:33:16
is there a site like this one for the ECHCU where i can view horses that are up for adoptoin
