Great to meet you Dayle...... and we did a quick check after you left just to make sure!
Dayle Mallinson on Thursday 31 January 2008 - 19:56:06
Bev, Bobbie thank you SO much for your time this morning. I was so impressed with your facilities and it took alot of willpower not to load 4x thoroughbreds and 1 x donkey into my little car!
Bev Seabourne on Thursday 31 January 2008 - 15:08:06
She is doing wonderfully!!!!
Hanlie on Thursday 31 January 2008 - 14:28:46
Oh my.. i just read the blog about the foal and the donkey. Needless to say I am a sobbing wreck this side. It is just not fair. I can just pray for the beautiful and selfless people who offer their time and souls to these badly neglegted and hurt animals. You are all angels amongst us and them.
Andi on Thursday 31 January 2008 - 11:20:35
(sorry, that should read 'heart'!! )
Andi on Thursday 31 January 2008 - 11:16:40
Just saw your blog, Bev - my God, the things people do - that poor donkey! And that little foal - Gees that was a terrible injury - the poor thing - how he must have suffered. My ehart hurts for him. I really admire you guys for dealing with things like this on a daily basis and still having the strength to keep helping equines despite the horrors you are faced with. It cant be easy. HUGE kudos to you and everyone at the HHCU!

Bev: How is the little donkey doing today?
Bev Seabourne on Wednesday 30 January 2008 - 16:53:24
oh, great, look forward to seeing you - got lots to show you!! We have some beautiful horses and ponies in the yard at the moment! Two of them are to be homed as 'companion' animals - no riding, just looking for super homes where they will get lots of love and attention.....
Monica on Wednesday 30 January 2008 - 16:22:47
Oeps - now its a different page ....
Monica on Wednesday 30 January 2008 - 16:21:09
Is it my imagination or is the donkey at the bottom of this page smiling? I sure hope so!!
Dayle Mallinson on Wednesday 30 January 2008 - 15:15:33
Hi Bev!

Meryl & I will be there tomorrow mid morning as discussed.
Monica on Wednesday 30 January 2008 - 12:36:30
Shame she deserves some spoiling, thanks for keeping us up to date.
Andi on Wednesday 30 January 2008 - 11:29:08
Will do Meryl! Im on a mission!
Bev Seabourne on Tuesday 29 January 2008 - 17:01:20
The little donkey is looking much better today - she is not so sore, and taking more interest in life. She is of course being spoilt rotten!
Arlette on Tuesday 29 January 2008 - 14:10:31
I have sent to everyone on my horse and not so horsey mailing list asking them to join. I will send again.
Re the donkey pictures to quote Mahatima Gandhi "The greatness of a nation & its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated" I think that says it all!
Meryl on Tuesday 29 January 2008 - 11:30:04
Andi, Arlette: we need members to sign up, so we have a nice big membership base. Until we have at least 500 members signed up on the site, we can't really offer advertising on the site to the corporate market
Andi on Tuesday 29 January 2008 - 11:05:08
Tell all your friends to help the HHCU!!
Arlette on Tuesday 29 January 2008 - 10:48:26
Shocking!!!What more can one say?
Bev Seabourne on Monday 28 January 2008 - 17:01:55
Sorry the photograph upset you, Hanlie, but the fact is, this is a regular occurrence......... we need people to help us DO something about it!!

Hanlie on Monday 28 January 2008 - 12:33:29
Hi, I do know that the site is because of neglegted and abused horses- but oh, those photos in the top right corner is just too much for me!! I actually feel physically ill after seeing this last one. HOW could anyone allow an animal such agony? Very small heart, Hanlie
jiji on Wednesday 23 January 2008 - 20:04:07
i can't believe how cruel people are... well actually i can, people are heartless, but that's not the point! the point is animals are mistreated and there should be an end to this!!!
Bev Seabourne on Tuesday 22 January 2008 - 15:58:55
Thank you Meryl - the site looks fantastic!!
Andi on Tuesday 22 January 2008 - 13:52:21
