Dewormer

Every horse/pony or donkey that comes into the Unit is de-wormed at least twice.

We also de-worm every equine that we can at our primary care clinics. It is expensive, but it has proven to be the best way of improving the condition of working horses and donkeys, and helping them get through winters when they do not have the luxury of supplemented feed.

In two townships alone in Brits, we have de-wormed 360 equines!

For HHCU – It must break your hearts to have to walk away without being allowed to give even water to these poor animals. The red tape involved is horrendous when animals are dying not a meter away from those can help.
